Although regular life takes a quiet turn during the day, the
evening promises a lot of activities in Qatar during Ramadan. Here are three productive
things to do this holy month.
Doha Festival City wants your kids to get creative this
Ramadan. The Works of Art will have four sessions starting June 15. Children
can learn Ommi Doll Colouring, Money Box making, Ramadan Cards and Prayer Mat
making. Kids between four to 12 years old can participate. The event is free
but kids do need to register to be assured of a slot in the workshop.
The workshop starts at 9 pm at the Centre Court, Ground
Qatar’s favorite water park goes 50% off during Ramadan.
Aqua Park offers only 60 QAR as entrance fee. Once inside, you’ll be able to
enjoy the world-class attractions and an exhilarating experience. Love surfing?
Try the Stingray Surfing. It’s the world’s first skim-boarding/surfing
half-pipe. If you like extreme water sports, then the Boomerango is for you.
You’ll be catapulted upwards and you can make a huge splash.
On the other hand, kids can enjoy the Pirate Bay. The
pirate-themed aquatic play area has an activity pool at the center,
multicolored slides and a giant tipping bucket which douses kids with water
every two minutes.
Aqua Park is open from 8pm to 2am during Ramadan.
While there are lots of buffets and food promos during
Ramadan, don’t forget to get fit. Besides eating healthy foods, one of the best
ways to be fit is to exercise. Luckily, QGym Elite is offering 20% off on
membership. Trying to lose weight? Trim
the pounds with their weight-loss program.
